Area 3, between the legs
Begin in the standing position, point right toe outward, and lock your knee keeping foot flat on the floor.
Press with your right hand on upper right thigh to stretch skin smooth on right groin (area 1). Using your left hand, shave with short horizontal strokes from the outside upper thigh to the inside groin area.
Repeat procedure for the left side of your bikini line reversing posture and hands.
To shape the top of your pubic region (area 2), shave downward with short strokes.
While sitting with legs spread, shave (area 3) inward carefully with short strokes.
Handle the skin in the bikini region gently as it is thin and tender. To avoid irritation, no more than 2-3 strokes over any one area. Shave regularly to prevent ingrown hairs.
Ingrown hairs form when shaven hairs fail to grow outside the skin and instead curls over inside the follicles under the skin. The follicle than becomes inflamed.
